Lisa M. Rice is a partner in WFBM's Orange office. Her practice focuses on general liability, products liability, premises liability, and toxic tort litigation. She has successfully represented manufacturers, distributors, premises owners, retailers and municipalities in multiple-party, complex, and class action litigation involving exposure to chemicals, metals, medical devices, pharmaceutical and herbal products, prosthetic and orthotic devices, construction defects, mold and other environmental toxins and business litigation matters. Additionally, Lisa handles and supervises all aspects of trial and trial preparation, from managing discovery and taking and defending numerous experts and PMKs (Persons Most Knowledgeable) in deposition to resolving cases through trial, dispositive motions, mediation and arbitration. She has participated in many trials on her clients' behalf. Lisa also gives presentations for various clients on current trends in the law.
Lisa was born and raised in Southern California. She enjoys reading, scuba diving, yoga, travelling and spending time with her husband and two kids.

Hoffman v. Newhall Land, et al.; Dismissal of manufacturer in a personal injury case involving exposure to toxic mold. Dismissed on first day of trial.
Navarette, et al. v. J.H. Armington, Inc. et al.; Demurrers on behalf of several clients sustained without leave to amend in case involving multiple plaintiffs' personal injury claims from exposure to toxic chemicals.
Calcagno v. 3M, et al.; Dismissal of a manufacturer of custom and pre-fabricated orthotic braces, and a non-profit medical research company in a toxic tort case.
