WFB&M Announces Three Partnership Promotions for 2008

Walsworth, Franklin, Bevins & McCall is happy to announce partnership promotions for 2008. Florence A. McClain, Daniel R. Jacobs and Karen P. Agelson will become the firm's three newest partners, effective January 1, 2008.

Florence A. McClain of the San Francisco office focuses her practice on environmental litigation with an emphasis on product liability and toxic tort. She represents clients in litigation involving exposure to alleged harmful substances, such as asbestos. McClain received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1999.

Daniel R. Jacobs works out of the Orange County office in the firm's general litigation department. His primary practice areas include business litigation and construction defect. Jacobs received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Long Beach State University, and his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law. Jacobs is a member of the Orange County Bar Association.

Karen P. Agelson, also of the Orange County office, practices environmental litigation, focusing on the defense of asbestos litigation. In the last two years, Agelson has won three defense verdicts for asbestos clients. Agelson received her B.A. from the University of Southern California, an M.A. from Mount St. Mary's College, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School. She was admitted to the bar in 2000, and is a member of the American Bar Association.
