Associates Added to Orange and San Francisco Offices
The following associates have been recently hired by WFB&M:

CYNTHIA CHAN. Cynthia joins WFBM with experience in the professional liability, construction defect and medical malpractice fields. She attended Syracuse University College of Law where she was in the Order of the Barrister, Moot Court Honor Society and was a finalist in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition. Cynthia received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester. Cynthia's work experience includes a stint in the United States Attorney's office in the Northern District of New York. We are pleased to welcome Cynthia to our San Francisco office.


KURT GILABERT. Prior to joining WFBM, Kurt was a Judge Advocate General for the United States Army. Kurt also has practiced law in Germany, Iraq and Korea. He has extensive experience in administrative, criminal, personnel, divorce, immigration, tax and landlord/tenant law. Kurt received his legal education at Hastings College of the Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. We are pleased to welcome Kurt to our Orange County office.

HELEN M. LUETTO. Helen brings extensive experience in state trial and appellate courts in diverse areas of the law including bad faith, insurance coverage, fraudulent claims, catastrophic personal injury, construction and legal malpractice. She also has a great deal of experience in settlement negotiations. Helen received her Juris Doctor from Western State University and her Bachelor of Arts from California State University Fullerton. We welcome Helen to our Orange County office.


REYNA MACIAS. Reyna attended Whittier School of Law where she received Cali awards in Corporations and Corporate Tax Law. She also earned an Intellectual Property Law Certificate. Reyna's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from University of California Los Angeles. Prior to her legal career, Reyna served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer of RE/MAX Premier Realty in Irvine, California. Reyna is fluent in Spanish. We welcome Reyna to our Orange County office.


STEPHEN R. ONSTOT. Stephen boasts a broad range of expertise including complex science and technology-based litigation and substantive areas of environmental, telecommunications, cable television, trademark and copyright law, primarily representing public entities. He also has special expertise in CEQA, land use, environmental due diligence and Brown Act matters. Stephen received his legal education from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. His undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Stephen will be working in our Los Angeles office.


FERNANDO C. SALDIVAR. Fernando joins the firm with experience in the defense of workers' compensation claims and other labor disputes. He received his Juris Doctor from the Southwestern University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from Georgetown University. Fernando boasts many academic awards and honors, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, a Public Interest Law Fellowship, and Honors in the Stanford University Invitational Mock Trial Competition. He is fluent in Spanish. We welcome Fernando to our Orange County office.


ANNA VALIENTE. Anna received her law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law where she earned a second place finish in the Frances M. Carr Trial Competition. She was also co-chair of the Filipino Law Student Association. Anna's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Anna's experience includes work as a civil litigation associate in complex and general civil matters; she is fluent in Tagalog. Anna joins our Orange County office.
