WFB&M congratulates Cindy Hughes, who has been selected as co-chairperson of the firm's transactional department. Working out of the Orange County office, Cindy will co-chair the department with Jeffrey Walsworth. The WFB&M transactional department has handled and closed over $2 billion of transactions since the year 2000.
Cindy joined the transactional department of WFB&M in 1995. In her twenty years of legal experience, Cindy has handled a full range of transactional matters including the merger, financing, sale and acquisition of businesses, real estate matters including purchases and sales and commercial leases, and advising and organizing entities, including corporations, LLCs and partnerships, as well as the negotiation, review and drafting of all types of contracts, including shareholder, consulting and distribution agreements. Prior to her legal career, Cindy was a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to her law degree, Cindy has a Masters in Business Taxation.
