On Monday, May 19, 2008, WFB&M will be hosting the Annual Seagull Golf Tournament at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, California, benefiting the research, prevention and treatment of juvenile diabetes.

The annual golf tournament began in 1986 as a casual game of golf hosted by the Seagulls, an Orange County softball team of which WFB&M partners Ron Bevins, Mike McCall and Larry Duffy were a part. Today, this informal event has evolved into a large-scale benefit, which has cumulatively raised over $250,000 to date. Last May, the golf tournament sold out with over 300 people attending the event.

The full-day event begins with the golf tournament held at the scenic Old Ranch Golf Course. Golfers of all experience levels are welcome to participate and show their support for the cause. Those who prefer not to play can participate by attending the evening program, which includes a dinner party, our signature silent and "not-so-silent" auctions and an exciting raffle with amazing prizes.
