Jeffrey P. Walsworth is the founding partner of WFB&M, and has seen his firm grow to over 90 attorneys in 25 years. He has been representing and counseling clients on a variety of legal matters since 1977. Mr. Walsworth is Co-Chair of the firm's transactional department, which has processed more than $2 billion of transactions since the year 2000. Mr. Walsworth has been a judicially recognized designated expert on complex transactions and litigation. He has been a noted speaker for California real estate continuing education requirements and has passed the California real estate brokers exam. Kummel v. Old World; Successful defense verdict after approximately one month trial in Orange County Superior Court in business tort-contract dispute involving approximately $15 million in assets.
Millard v. Kent Realty; Successful unanimous plaintiff jury verdict in favor of real estate investors against real estate company selling investment properties. Award successfully included $300,000 in punitive damages. Approximately one month jury trial held in San Diego Superior Court.
Security Pacific Mortgage Co. v. Nourian; Successful plaintiff jury verdict (12-0), including fraud and punitive damages in excess of $1 million against defendants in the Orange County Superior Court before Judge Fitzgerald.
Thompson v. Davis; Successful pursuit and recovery of value of real estate purchase options under tort and contractual theories involving multi- millions in investment property. Orange County Superior Court.
In Re: Estate of Hillbloom; Successfully served and processed as special counsel to the special administrator to the estate of the founder of DHL delivery. Actions involved the pursuit, administration and litigation of matters exceeding $500 million dollars inclusive of asset valuations, professional malpractice claims and asset management compliance with prudent person rules.
