Sharon L. Clisham is the managing partner in the WFB&M San Francisco office, where she supervises a diverse practice of over thirty attorneys and co-manages the firm's four offices. During her five years as co-managing partner, Ms. Clisham has overseen the firm's growth from around 70 to nearly 90 attorneys.
Ms. Clisham has practiced law in California for over seventeen years, currently focusing her practice on the defense of environmental and asbestos defense litigation. As a partner in the San Francisco environmental department, she was instrumental in developing the firm's associate training program, customized to address the procedures and nuances of asbestos litigation. Her litigation experience includes product liability, environmental tort defense, employment law and general civil litigation. Ms. Clisham has represented a variety of different clients, including manufacturers, premise owners, contractors and suppliers. She has successfully tried several product liability and asbestos cases to verdict. Ms. Clisham has had substantial involvement in developing the overall defense strategies for several of the firm's clients, including one of the firm's large asbestos clients, an insulation distributor. She has facilitated the resolution of thousands of cases for these clients.

Hudnall v. Various Defendants; Asbestos/Product Liability
Defense verdict (12-0 by jury) for WFB&M represented construction site contractor involving claim of exposure to asbestos by a career carpenter. San Francisco Superior Court Judge Alfred A. Chiantelli presided and the law firm of Brayton, Purcell, Curtis & Geagan represented the plaintiffs.
Schweitzer v. Various Defendants; Asbestos/Product Liability
Defense verdict (12-0) on behalf of a large premises owner represented by WFB&M in a confirmed mesothelioma case. The jury returned a verdict on behalf of the client represented by WFB&M based on plaintiff's failure to prove negligence against the premises owner. Plaintiff was represented by Phillip Harley of Brayton, Harley, Curtis and San Francisco Superior Court Judge Ollie Marie-Victoire presided.
