Jane Rothbaler is a partner at Walsworth who focuses her practice on toxic tort matters. She is a skilled attorney with more than 20 years of experience handling cases from origination to resolution. She has significant experience handling all aspects of litigation, including developing case strategy, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, propounding and responding to written discovery, negotiating settlements, and preparing matters for trial.
Prior to joining Walsworth, Jane represented a wide range of clients, including an international product manufacturer, residential developers and builders, corporations, and employers in anti-trust, environmental, toxic tort, product liability, construction, personal injury, and employment matters.
- Represented national housing developer in several multi-million dollar complex matters in Southern California and was able to resolve matters short of trial.
- Obtained dismissal of asbestos remediation company in a personal injury matter where plaintiff was claiming multiple asbestos-related injuries.
- Successfully represented product manufacturer and supplier of tools in a product liability matter involving allegations of mental health issues related to exposure to manganese.
- Favorably resolved matter against the Port of Los Angeles on behalf of a former boatyard involving allegations of groundwater contamination related to boatyard activities extending as far back as 1940.
- Secured dismissal of client, a health club, in a personal injury matter following demurrer.
