Samantha Finegan focuses her practice on defending clients against product liability and negligence claims in complex asbestos litigation. She is involved in all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including conducting legal research, propounding and responding to discovery, attending depositions and pre-trial hearings, drafting motions, and assisting with trial preparation.
Prior to joining Walsworth, Samantha practiced tort law at a San Francisco law firm, where she represented numerous clients in personal injury cases. She also worked at a defense firm specializing in construction defect, product liability, personal injury, and other claims.
Samantha is from Palm Springs, California. She graduated from the University of San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in philosophy. She moved to San Francisco in 2013 and is happy to now call it home.
During law school, Samantha received 4 prestigious CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in California Civil Procedure, Commercial Contract Drafting, Mediation, and Remedies. She was Senior Executive Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review and a member of the U.C. Hastings Alternative Dispute Resolution team.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending sunny days at the park, and visiting nearby areas like Lake Tahoe and Napa.
