Kaniewski Featured in Law360’s Trial and International Arbitration Q&A Series

Attorney: John A. Kaniewski | Published 6.17.16

John A. Kaniewski was highlighted in Law360’s June 17, 2016 Trial Pro’s feature.

John Kaniewski is senior trial counsel at Walsworth LLP, where he focuses his practice primarily on environmental litigation with an emphasis on asbestos, toxic torts and product liability. He is also involved in general liability matters of all sorts.

When asked, “What’s the most interesting trial you’ve worked on and why?” Kaniewski replied, “The most interesting case from a technical/scientific standpoint was one involving damage to a Titan IV booster rocket which was being lifted by the third-largest mobile crane in the world. I actually deposed a real “rocket scientist” in that case (the designer of the rocket). But the most critical aspect of the case dealt with the capabilities of human eyesight and, in particular, the ability of a person to judge whether something is at true horizon (the same height as the person’s eyes).”
