Orange County Business Journal Features Walsworth as Largest Women-Owned Law Firm in US
Walsworth was featured in the Orange County Business Journal’s Apr. 4 article, entitled “Orange Has Largest Women-Owned Law Firm in US.”
With a commitment to diversity spanning more than 25 years, Walsworth received certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and by the California Public Utilities Commission. “For clients looking to work with diverse law firms, this is the gold standard of the industry,” said partner Dee Cohen Katz. Walsworth reached this milestone gradually and in an organic way. “There has always been a feeling at the firm that we’re going to hire the best people, and if you work hard, opportunities will be given to you,” she said.
Walsworth, a firm of more than 80 attorneys with offices in Los Angeles, Orange and San Francisco, is known for excellence in litigation and transactional matters. Firm founder Jeff Walsworth said, “I could not be more proud of the great team of lawyers, the work we have done and the client relationships, we have developed over the last 25 years.”
