Walsworth Participates in Food From The Bar Campaign
Walsworth has the honor of participating in the Food From The Bar Campaign, in partnership with the Orange County Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association. During the month of May the legal community is partnering with Second Harvest in Orange County and the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank in San Francisco to feed the hungry.
Walsworth attorneys and staff are committing to raise money, collect food, and volunteer time packing and sorting food at the distribution centers.
In San Francisco, attorneys and staff packed corn in boxes along with other volunteers from the community and various organizations. The 37,000 pounds of corn will be sent to 450 organizations (who serve 220,000 people per day), and will be eaten by week’s end. In Orange County, attorneys and their families also volunteered time to sort and pack food, far exceeding their volunteer goal.
