Erin Muniga is an associate at Walsworth who focuses her practice on general liability matters. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of pre-trial litigation, including developing case strategy, preparing and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, preparing and arguing motions, conducting expert discovery, attending mediations and settlement conferences, and preparing for trial.
Prior to joining Walsworth, Erin represented a wide range of clients, including corporations, small businesses, and public entities in general liability, premises liability, and workers’ compensation matters. During law school, she served as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
- Successfully obtained summary judgment in favor of a public entity in a case where plaintiff alleged a traumatic brain injury stemming from an incident involving the public entity’s fare gates. Summary judgment was granted on design immunity and lack of dangerous condition of public property.
In her free time, Erin enjoys running, pilates, and spending time with her husband and their cat. She also enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants and travelling.
