An Update From Our Managing Partner Regarding Walsworth’s Uninterrupted Operations

Attorney: Dee Cohen Katz | Published 3.20.20

Dear Walsworth Clients and Friends,

As you know, the #coronavirus has changed much about our country and world in a short time. It has also shown us how adaptable and unified we can be in order to protect ourselves and our neighbors. I would like to update everyone on how Walsworth is handling the needs of our clients and staff during this challenging time.

On Thursday, March 19, the Governor of California enacted a Stay-at-Home order which affected our physical offices in Orange County, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The firm anticipated such an order would take place, and we have been preparing to be remote and fully operational for some time. As of today, our attorneys and staff are fully remote, and we are 100% operational and available to our clients. During normal business hours, calls to our offices allow you to access a receptionist where you can get information or leave a voicemail for an attorney. Attorneys are immediately notified of voicemail messages and of course, also accessible via email. In short, we are committed to maintaining the same level of service, responsiveness and diligence you have come to expect. Our Information Technology staff have also worked to establish and maintain the same high level of data security during this time. We do ask that if possible you use email to send documents as opposed to mail as there might be a delay in receiving mailed items.

We have established a daily update of California closures and procedures which will be hosted on www.wfbm.com. Your attorney team will contact you directly if modified or suspended proceedings may impact your matters.

Our labor and employment attorneys can also help with additional support on how to manage workforce, legal and regulatory obligations, crisis communications, contingency plans or general guidance. Please reach out if you need us – we are here for you. We will all come out on the other side of this stronger, more unified and having learned many valuable lessons.

If you have any questions, please contact the attorneys within the firm that provide your representation or feel free to reach out to me directly.

Sincerely,
Dee Cohen Katz
