Walsworth Tops the 2017 Law360 Glass Ceiling Report

Published 7.26.17

Walsworth is pleased to once again be included in the upper echelon of law firms surveyed, according to Law360’s recently released Glass Ceiling Report, a survey that examines more than 300 U.S. firms about their overall and female head count numbers as of December 31, 2016.

“Only nine firms – 2.6 percent of those surveyed – report having an attorney workforce that is 50 percent or more female,” according to the report. Walsworth’s total female attorneys is 58 percent, more than 20 percent greater than the average for all law firms.

For over 25 years, Walsworth has demonstrated a commitment to diversity that is beyond a formality. Walsworth once again outpaces law firms of every size and in all law firm roles – from associate to equity partner.

“Walsworth continues to make the hiring, promotion and retention of diverse talent – at all levels – a priority because it is best suited for our clients’ needs,” said co-managing partner Mary Watson Fisher. “We are honored to be included in Law360’s Glass Ceiling Report and to be recognized for our strong commitment to diversity.”
