Payroll/HR Specialist

We  are currently in search of a Payroll/HR Specialist  to become part of our team. This position will be responsible for payroll and assist with HR activities for the Firm, working closely with managers and Firm leadership.

This position may be remote/hybrid with occasional in-office work at our Irvine location. Occasional travel to our San Francisco and Los Angeles offices will be required on a regular or as-needed basis.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payroll.
  • Maintain pay policy and practices, including payroll administration.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts.
  • Assist with benefits administration.
  • Assist with event planning.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3 years hands-on payroll experience.
  • Excellent and proven people skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional services experience required, law firm experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
  • Ability to take ownership of the process and results.

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a pay range of $60,000 – $70,000 a year which represents Walsworth’s reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s relevant experience, and qualifications.
