Walsworth Partner Lisa Rice to Speak at 2017 NAMWOLF Annual Meeting
Walsworth Partner Lisa Rice will be a presenter for the CLE panel session, “Class in Session: Defending Putative Class Actions” at the NAMWOLF Annual Meeting & Law Firm Expo on September 18 at the Marriott Marquis in New York, NY.
The session will take place on Monday at 3:00 p.m. and will address the rise of class action law suits and how to utilize selected Supreme Court decisions for defense strategies. Using stories from the trenches, the panel will cover early strategic options, discovery strategies and strategies for defeating class certification.
Rice’s co-panelist is Brendan Dowd, Associate General Counsel and Director of Bank of America. The moderator of this panel is Stephanie Douglas, Partner at Bush Seyferth & Paige PLLC.
